Over the course of nearly 20 years of covering independent music, GAJOOB has developed many services for bands and artists in need of shortrun CD manufacturing and distribution:

shortrunmusic.com
dollarcd.com
homemademusic.com

Thousands of independent music resources as well as band listings can be found at indieonestop.com .

And our new magazine, taking up where GAJOOB Magazine left off is found at indiemusicbeat.com.

GAJOOB collects 101+ great indie music tracks from various sources and makes them available on this series of CDs. Songs are culled from GAJOOB review CDs, indie music communities and labels and other places. It's a great way to find lots of new music.

LoopBomb.com is a new outlet for loop artists. Fostered in support of The Tapegerm Collective, LoopBomb distributes a growing series of loop CDs created by independent loop artists. Through Tapegerm's influential reach, creators of loops make their work available to an active audience. Just released are LoopBomb's first two CD's, culling a couple year's worth of loops from Tapegerm's vaults with over a GIG of loops for $15.

The Latest Reviews

Hope Alane
Pink Sky Blue
Pink Sky Blue is a little like opening an artist's closet and digging down into the bottom stuff. Hope Alane's vocals are bright and lilting, reminding me of Linda Smith and why I like her recordings so much as well. Producer john, who runs the little grasshopper records label, paints with a palette of atmospheric guitars, human-enfused drum machines, tack piano, analogs and the like that embrace the singer and her songs in a way that makes this release one of those rare ear gems you'll keep. Like a box full of photographs or something. This is very highly recommended.
