| Roger Head Records are proud to announce the debut album by Roger - 'This Is The Shit' through an exclusive arrangement with the legendary Julian Cope's Head Heritage label. Only the second non-Cope release ever on the imprint, the album's 9 epic tracks were recorded over numerous guerrilla sessions at Berkshire's Avalanche Recording and live on the "Wherever J Edgar Wants To Play, J Edgar Plays" tour. The album has been hailed as "a funk opera in the echoing vintage Funkadelic" also contains the Roger band's lost Royal Variety Performance (Roger are of course Prince Philips favourite band) the 12 minute version of "Ramm It Home" and the ludicrous yet fantastic single "Hot Fuddge". Roger have also launched a rather badass brand new website, designed by the superb Chris McGrail (warp records, manic street preachers) at www.kingdomofroger.com to coincide with the release.
